Salmon, James (1784-1826)

Additional comments: The dictionary is confusing regarding Salmon Sr and Salmon Jr. Junior married in 1806 Eliza Munday, born in 1787, so a birth date of 1784 for junior is likely. Dates for Sr. Are not available, but he could also have been a composer. Parr (book no. 97, page 34) notes that Salmon was appointed organist of St. Peter's, liverpool in 1805 and enlisted in 1813 to be a soldier. Parr is convinced junior is the composer.
